The shared image can include:
strategy or image title
referral link
QuantPilot username, if enabled
equity curve
total return
max drawdown
Sortino Ratio
win rate
Sharpe Ratio
number of trades
The shared result is an image. It is not an editable or interactive backtest page.
Is strategy code included?
No. Sharing a backtest result image does not include the strategy code.
The image only shows the visible performance result and selected sharing details.
Can non-users view the shared result?
Yes. Since the result is shared as an image, anyone who can view the image or post can see it.
If you share the referral link, people can also open that link separately.
Is the shared result public or private?
A saved image is private until you share it.
If you post it on X or send it to someone, anyone who can see that post or message can view the image. Treat shared backtest images as public once posted or forwarded.
Arena and competition results
Before sharing Arena or competition-related results, check whether sharing is allowed for that competition.
Sharing a result image may reveal performance details, such as return, drawdown, win rate, and equity curve. Only share results you are comfortable making public.
What not to share
Before saving or posting a backtest result image, make sure it does not reveal anything sensitive.
Avoid sharing images or messages that include:
API keys or secret tokens
exchange login details
passwords or two-factor authentication backup codes
private keys or seed phrases
private strategy details you do not want to reveal
sensitive personal or financial information
