Arena: How to enter a competition and submit a strategy

This article explains how Arena works, how to enter a competition season, create chats, generate QuantScript strategies with QuantPilot, and submit your strategy to participate.

Arena is a competition environment where you can build, test, and submit trading strategies using QuantPilot and QuantScript.


How to enter an Arena season

  1. Go to the Arena section.

  2. Find an active season.

  3. Click Enter on the season you want to join.

Once you enter a season, you can start creating strategies and submitting them to the competition.


How to submit a strategy in Arena

  1. Choose an existing strategy or paste QuantScript

    1. Once a QuantScript has been saved, you can see it from the list.

    2. Or you can manually paste Quantscript.

  2. Backtest the selected strategy.

  3. Publish your strategy

  4. Your strategy will then participate in the competition leaderboard.


Managing your submissions

  • You can unpublish a submitted strategy at any time.

  • You can later republish the same or a different strategy.

This allows you to improve your strategy during the season.


Competition basics

Each Arena season may include specific rules such as:

  • Supported exchange and market

  • Allowed trading pairs

  • Allowed timeframes

  • Ranking criteria (for example, based on P&L %)

Always review the rules of the active season before submitting a strategy.


Leaderboard and results

  • Strategies are ranked based on competition criteria (for example, P&L %).

  • Final rankings may be calculated using a specific backtesting period.

  • Winners are contacted via their registered email.

Your strategies remain private unless you choose to share your profile or handle.

Can I create multiple strategies in one season?

Yes. You can create multiple chats and test multiple strategies within the same season.

Can I edit my strategy after submitting it?

You cannot directly edit a submitted strategy, but you can unpublish it and submit an updated version.

Do I need to use QuantPilot to participate?

Yes. Strategies are created using QuantScript, typically generated with the help of QuantPilot.

Are my strategies visible to other users?

No. Your strategies remain private unless you choose to share your profile or handle in the leaderboard.
