Live strategy automation is not currently supported in QuantPilot.
You can build, edit, validate, optimize, and backtest strategies in QuantPilot, but QuantPilot strategies do not currently auto-trade live from the strategy workflow.
What is currently supported?
You can use QuantPilot to work on trading strategies before live deployment.
For example, you can:
describe a strategy idea in chat
ask the agent to generate strategy logic
review and edit QuantScript
validate a strategy
run backtests
compare strategy versions
optimize parameters
test robustness
prepare a strategy for later use
These tools help you research and test a strategy, but they do not mean the strategy is trading live automatically.
Are live strategies supported?
No. Live strategies are not currently supported.
This means you should not expect a QuantPilot strategy to:
automatically place live orders
run continuously in the market
manage live positions for you
execute strategy signals without manual action
auto-trade from a backtest or strategy chat
If you see wording such as “before going live” or “live deployment,” treat it as referring to a future or planned workflow unless live strategy automation is clearly available in your account.
Can I still use Trading Strategies?
Yes. You can still use Trading Strategies to build and test strategy ideas.
Trading Strategies can help you:
turn an idea into strategy logic
review how the strategy works
adjust parameters
validate the script
backtest the strategy
compare different versions
find issues before using a strategy elsewhere
This is useful even before live strategy automation is available.
Is Terminal the same as live strategy automation?
No. Terminal and live strategy automation are different.
Terminal is for manual trading. It may let users view charts, place trades, and manage positions, depending on what is available in their account.
Live strategy automation means a saved strategy runs automatically and places trades based on its logic.
Using Terminal does not mean your QuantPilot strategy is running live automatically.
Can I manually place trades based on a strategy?
If Terminal is available in your account, you may be able to place manual trades there.
However, manual trading is your own action. It is not the same as a QuantPilot strategy auto-trading for you.
Before placing any manual trade, review the strategy, market conditions, and risk carefully.
When will live strategies be available?
Live strategy automation is planned, but the exact release date has not been announced yet.
We recommend checking QuantPilot product updates or Help Center articles for the latest information.
Why backtesting is still important
Backtesting helps you understand how a strategy would have behaved using historical data.
Before live strategy automation is available, you can use backtesting to:
compare strategy versions
check whether the logic works as intended
test different parameters
identify weak periods
review risk settings
decide whether a strategy needs more work
A backtest is not a live trading result and does not guarantee future performance.
What users should remember
QuantPilot can help you build, edit, validate, optimize, and backtest strategies.
QuantPilot strategies do not currently auto-trade live from the strategy workflow.
Terminal manual trading is separate from live strategy automation.
Do not assume a strategy is trading live unless QuantPilot clearly shows that live automation is available and active for that strategy.
