QuantPilot uses AI tokens, also called QP tokens, to measure usage of AI-powered features.
When you use QuantPilot features such as strategy chat, research, backtesting, or agent workflows, tokens may be consumed depending on the action. More complex requests may use more tokens than simple requests.
What are QP tokens?
QP tokens are usage credits for QuantPilot AI features.
They are not cryptocurrency tokens, wallet tokens, or blockchain assets. They are internal usage credits used inside QuantPilot.
QP tokens may be used when QuantPilot processes AI actions such as:
generating strategy ideas
editing or explaining strategies
running AI strategy workflows
researching markets
analyzing data
creating or refining QuantScript
running longer agent tasks
The exact token usage can depend on the task, model, data, and workflow used.
Who gets free tokens?
Free tokens are available to users on the Free plan.
Users on the Free plan can use QuantPilot without adding payment card details.
Free token availability may depend on the current Free plan rules shown in QuantPilot.
When do free tokens reset?
Daily free tokens reset daily.
Unused free tokens do not roll over. If you do not use all of your free tokens before they expire, they are not added to the next day’s free token amount.
The weekly free token spend cap resets according to QuantPilot’s weekly billing or usage cycle.
What happens when I reach the weekly free token cap?
If you reach the weekly free token spend cap, you may need to wait until the weekly cap resets before using more free tokens.
You may also be able to buy paid token top-ups if top-ups are available for your account.
What are paid token top-ups?
Paid token top-ups are one-time purchases of additional QP tokens.
The current public pricing is $1 per 1 million QP tokens.
Paid token top-ups do not change your plan. They add more tokens to your account so you can keep using QuantPilot after your available free tokens are used or capped.
Do paid tokens expire?
Paid token top-ups do not expire until they are used, unless your QuantPilot account is closed.
Free tokens and paid tokens work differently. Free tokens reset and expire based on the Free plan schedule. Paid tokens remain available until used, except if the account is closed.
What happens when I run out of tokens?
If you run out of available tokens, some AI-powered actions may stop or become unavailable until you have tokens again.
Depending on your account, you may be able to:
wait for your daily free tokens to reset
wait for your weekly free token cap to reset
buy a paid token top-up
upgrade to a paid plan, if paid plans are available
If a task stops because of token limits, try again after tokens reset or after adding more tokens.
Where can I see or manage tokens?
You can review token-related information in your billing page.
Billing and checkout is handled through a Stripe-hosted billing portal or checkout flow.
Available top-up amounts, prices, currencies, and discounts are shown during checkout.
Important notes about token limits
Token amounts, free token availability, weekly caps, top-up packages, prices, and plan benefits may change.
Always check the current information shown in QuantPilot or at checkout before purchasing tokens.
Free tokens are intended to help users try QuantPilot. Paid token top-ups are useful when you want to continue working after your free token balance or weekly free token cap has been reached.
